KEDOUGOU

Located in the southwest of the country, with a more rugged relief thanks to the incursion of the hills of Fouta-Djalon are the Bedik people, settled between the 11th and 19th century, living in symbiosis with the natural environment and preserving their traditions and customs intact. Village formed by dense groups of huts with sloping thatched roofs. The site is an extremely well-preserved multicultural landscape, home to original and still living indigenous cultures.
